This "royal" olive oil comes from the naturally grown olive variety " Picqual " on Mallorca. It is an extra virgin olive oil of the first quality and is produced exclusively by a mechanical process. This variety is certainly the most common olive among Spanish olive oils . It is found in Cordóba and Granada, among other places. The taste is a little bitter and spicy , the aroma is captivating with herbs, figs and tomatoes. It is a rather powerful oil , which olive oil lovers will appreciate.
